Copper Canyon is a place that has been blessed by solitude; it is one of the only places in the world where you can see wild burros grazing, horses running wild, and if you come in the right season thousands of monarch butterflies fluttering right beside you. It is a place where ancient people have walked, and where we can walk in their footsteps. We will walk on the sand dunes where there are sometimes arrowheads found on the ground, travel the dry river beds, see homes of our Navajo ancestors, explore dinosaur bones, and look at mesas, buttes, and spires unobstructed by our modern world.
